Meet Mrs. King
6th Grade Teacher
I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I received my undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University. I moved to Illinois 15 years ago and received my Master’s from National Louis University in Curriculum and Instruction. I taught for 7 years before taking a break to stay home with my children. My husband and I have two sons, Cameron and Brandon.
Classroom Overview
Sixth graders at Immanuel strive to love and respect one another. From day one we stress the importance of treating each other with love and dignity. Each child is a precious gift from God made exactly the way He wanted them to be. We love each other for whose they are more than who they are.
