About Our Church
Immanuel Lutheran Church is an active congregation of 2,200 members with an average weekly worship attendance of 750 people. Our mission is to draw people closer to the person of Jesus Christ and assure them of His gifts namely, the abundance of life on earth and the endless life of heaven. A significant part of our congregation’s ministry is our Immanuel Lutheran School, which attracts over 300 students and their families from the Upper Fox Valley region.
Our worship life at Immanuel is enhanced by our Acts 2 fellowship ministries – medium-sized groups of adults that are themselves “congregations within our congregation” – meeting as does our Sunday School “Faith Factory” at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings between worship services.
This hour of fellowship and study provides time for adults in the Acts 2 and children in the “Faith Factory” to pray with one another, share stories and refreshments, share life and pour over God’s word – the Bible.
In addition to regular weekly Faith Factory, Immanuel offers an exciting Christ-centered Youth Ministry program that reaches out in love to form honest relationships with students and their families, helping them to grow in faith and challenging them to live lives of worship and compassionate service.
We invite you to be a part of our ministry and would look forward to answering any questions you may have.
