Join us in January for this exciting new series!
This isn’t some stuffy economics class! You’ll laugh as you learn money skills and participate in entertaining class activities. Financial Peace University (FPU) teaches God’s ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents Biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you’ve dreamed you could be. This 9 week training plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more!
Financial Peace University is coming to Immanuel Lutheran Church beginning Sunday, January 14th. Will you join us? Each family will be expected to sign up for the Financial Peace University class and pay $109 per family to purchase the class materials.
The $109 may seem like a lot of money but that price includes the membership kit, and the following:
- 9 weeks of class (lifetime membership)
- The book Financial Peace Revisited
- The Financial Peace University workbook
- Audio CDs of the 9 weeks of lectures, in a nice faux leather folder.
- CD with some sample video content
- CD to share with a friend
- Cash envelope system for envelope budgeting
- Debit card sleeve (to remind you to think twice about spending)
You also get some intangibles when taking the class, one of which is a sense of peace knowing that you’re in better control of your money. Having a budget and a plan can really give you a sense of power that many didn’t have before.
The class will meet every Sunday from 6:30-8:30pm in Luther Hall. We look forward to this exciting adventure of growing in our life of stewardship as we learn to use the money that God has given to us for His glory and our good.
